Get ready Drake fans. It appears the Toronto rapper’s renowned music festival is returning to the Six.
Drake announced Thursday night that his OVO Fest is coming back to the city.
Drizzy made the announcement during a surprise performance at his venue History with British rapper Dave, and despite calls from fans on social media, there’s no confirmed dates yet.
In a video posted online, with close to 50,000 views, Drake says in part, “they let the city back open, so I will see you at OVO Fest soon.”

The music festival was cancelled the past two years due to pandemic restrictions.
Since the event’s inception in 2010, it typically runs in the summer and has attracted the who’s who of the hip hop world, including performances by Eminem, Cardi B, Tyga, Rihanna, and Stevie Wonder.
