Educators across France marched in protest of inadequate COVID testing rules in schools on Thursday, January 13, expressing anger at the government for its confusing, “chaotic” rules. Federation Syndicale Unitaire (FSU), the main trade union for education in France, called the situation in schools a health crisis, while another union demanded more resources to ensure “the complete safety of students, staff, and their families.” French Prime Minister Jean Castex was due to meet with teaching unions on Thursday afternoon, local media said.
