Protests against COVID-19 vaccines and green passes broke out across France on January 15. Demonstrations were held in multiple cities including Paris, Montpellier, Perigueux, and Valence, with up to 120,000 estimated to be in attendance across the country, RT France reported. According to local news reports, tear gas was used by police in Valence to prevent protesters from crossing the Frederic Mistral Bridge.
